AIX Rosé is made in the Provence region of France, just an hour East from the historical city of Aix-en-Provence. AIX was founded in 1880 with the first vines planted in 1973. The vineyard consists of 185 acres of vineyard and is one of the largest domaines in the famous AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence. These vineyards are non-irrigated and on a plateau at an elevation of 1,400 feet above sea level. The mistral winds keep the clusters dry and healthy. The soils vary from sandy, chalky soil to limestone and are highly acidic. AIX nurtures its heritage and has a passion and dedication to make the best Provence rosé. As part of this, all of their grapes are sustainably farmed.AIX Rosé is produced in the typical Provencial style using the direct pressing method.
