Our impact areas

At Shipt, we aspire to a future where fresh, nutritious food is accessible regardless of zip code. Teaching Farms

Connecting community to hands-on learning and education on exactly where fresh food comes from and how to grow it.

Mobile Markets

Mobile Markets

Bridging the food access gap by bringing the store directly to the community, serving as a consistent anchor for neighbors in need.

Food hubs

Food hubs

Strengthening local food economies by providing the essential infrastructure that connects small-scale farmers to new local market opportunities.

Here's what grantees are saying

  • “Our patients have benefitted tremendously from this grant funding through the increased access to fresh produce and through the ability to take ownership of growing their own food. This could not have been possible without Shipt believing in our mission and partnering with us to start the Nourish Teaching Farm. ”

    Katie Wolter

    Executive Director, Nourish Teaching Farm

  • "[Shipt’s] support has helped our Food Hub deliver over 230,000 pounds of fresh produce to communities with limited food access, while FoodPrints reached 8,000 students across 21 DC schools with hands-on garden and kitchen education. Together, these programs are creating lasting change—connecting people to nutritious food and the knowledge to choose it."

    Beth Gunston

Senior Manager of Institutional Giving, FRESHFARM

  • “Shipt shares our belief that food access and education go hand in hand. That allowed us to strengthen hands-on learning through Emeril’s Culinary Garden & Teaching Kitchen and extend access to fresh food in families’ homes through initiatives like our BAM! Box hydroponic grow kits. When missions align this clearly, the work naturally reinforces itself and creates deeper, more lasting impact.”
